Nakadomari Site, the Designated National Site
Introduction
Consists of 4 shell mounds, a cave and stoned pavements from modern times. A 3,500 years-old Iwakage remains of residence were found at Nakadomari 3rd Shell Mound. These are valuable sites to study ancient people’s lives.
